We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Business Development & Relationship Manager to help grow our partnerships, broaden the reach of our services, and support organisations in becoming more resilient to cybercrime and fraud. This role would suit someone who understands the cybersecurity landscape, enjoys building strong relationships, and is genuinely motivated to help businesses, public organisations, and communities stay safe online.
Join the Cyber and Fraud Centre Scotland as a Cybersecurity Business Development & Relationship Manager and play an important role in helping organisations across Scotland become more resilient to cyber threats. In this permanent, full-time role, you’ll focus on building strong partnerships, promoting essential cyber and fraud-prevention services, and supporting a socially driven mission to create a safer and more secure digital environment.
Act as the main point of contact for member organisations, building strong relationships and ensuring they stay engaged and satisfied with the Centre’s support.
Work closely with technical specialists, trainers, and incident-response teams to make sure services are clearly scoped and delivered effectively.
Look for and develop new partnership opportunities with organisations across the private, public, and third sectors.
Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, fraud trends, and relevant regulatory changes that could affect organisations.
Help non-technical stakeholders understand complex cybersecurity and fraud issues by translating them into clear, practical insights.
Promote the Centre’s range of cybersecurity and fraud-prevention services, including testing, training, incident response, tabletop exercises, and resilience programmes.
Enjoy a flexible hybrid working setup, giving you the balance of working from home and collaborating in person.
Take advantage of a 4-day working week, helping you maintain a healthier work–life balance.
Stay active and look after your wellbeing with an included gym membership.
Benefit from the option to work from home, offering extra flexibility in how you manage your workday.
A solid grasp of cybersecurity basics, fraud risks, and digital resilience, with the ability to understand how these issues affect organisations.
Demonstrated experience in business development, partnership management, or stakeholder engagement, ideally in cybersecurity, fraud prevention, or a similar field.
The ability to explain technical ideas in a clear, straightforward way, especially when speaking with non-technical audiences.
Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills, with confidence engaging a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience working with public-sector organisations, law enforcement agencies, or regulated industries would be a plus.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and a structured, organised approach to managing pipelines and opportunities.
