We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused leader to take ownership of our Data Integrity function and guide a high-performing team in a fast-moving compliance environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing operational delivery with coaching others, thrives on accountability, and takes pride in ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and service excellence across the organisation.
You will manage our data integrity protocols, ensuring Cifas databases are kept to a high standard while addressing consumer inquiries, complaints, and DSARs swiftly and fully in line with legal and organizational standards. By making the best use of resources and balancing workloads effectively, you’ll help ensure we meet our service levels and deliver confidently against our compliance risk framework.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Supervising and managing the Data Integrity team, providing feedback and support to drive maximum performance.
Monitoring performance metrics and MI, and reporting trends to senior leadership.
Ensuring all complaints and DSARs are handled accurately and within legislative timeframes.
Serving as the main escalation point for complex issues, resolving or escalating as needed.
Working with colleagues to implement changes that enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
Maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring clear communication.
Leading the development and delivery of training and guidance on data integrity, compliance and best practice, maintaining a structured programme.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, navigate challenges effectively and deliver to deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Ideally educated to A level standard (or equivalent), with relevant previous work experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy and a clear understanding of how decisions impact colleagues and stakeholders.
Previous experience working for a Cifas member.
Self-motivated, resilient and focused on continuous improvement, always looking for smarter ways of working.
Able to motivate and develop teams while maintaining high standards and driving ongoing improvement.
