Responsibilities

You will join the active Employment and Logistics team in our Housing Operations Service, which performs repairs, maintenance, and project work on more than 16,000 council-owned properties throughout our city estates. Your duties will include.

• Organising the diaries for Hub Driver Labourers to keep schedules running smoothly.

• Supporting the wider team with day-to-day tasks and general coordination.

• Handling telephone, face-to-face, and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.

• Taking minutes during meetings and circulating notes where needed.

• Updating and maintaining company-specific databases to ensure records are accurate.

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of plant hire arrangements.

• Sourcing building materials in line with project requirements.

• Raising purchase orders for suppliers and processing them efficiently.

• Managing invoice payments and ensuring accounts are kept up to date.
