You will join the active Employment and Logistics team in our Housing Operations Service, which performs repairs, maintenance, and project work on more than 16,000 council-owned properties throughout our city estates. Your duties will include.
Organising the diaries for Hub Driver Labourers to keep schedules running smoothly.
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day tasks and general coordination.
Handling telephone, face-to-face, and email enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
Taking minutes during meetings and circulating notes where needed.
Updating and maintaining company-specific databases to ensure records are accurate.
Assisting with the day-to-day management of plant hire arrangements.
Sourcing building materials in line with project requirements.
Raising purchase orders for suppliers and processing them efficiently.
Managing invoice payments and ensuring accounts are kept up to date.
