In the role of an RAF Medical Support Officer – Physiotherapist (MSO Physio), your responsibility is to provide rehabilitative clinical care to service members to assist in recovery and force generation. This may occur in a Primary Care Rehabilitation Facility, during different military exercises, or while on deployments.
Requirements

Possess at least 3 years of postgraduate experience, including Band 5 rotations, with one being a respiratory rotation, and at least 12 months’ experience in a musculoskeletal outpatient environment.

Hold a complete qualification as a physiotherapist, possessing either a BSc or MSc (pre-registration) in Physiotherapy, and be registered with the HCPC. The minimum requirement for the bachelor’s degree is a 2:2 classification.

Be between 20 and 47 years old (Must confirm prior to 48th birthday).
- Fulfil the fitness and health standards.

Commit to an initial commission of 12 years of service.
